Seniors
In just a few short weeks, we hope to see each of you crossing the stage at graduation! However, prior to that glorious day, we need all seniors to take care of some counseling business to ensure you are cleared for graduation.
- Complete all of the tasks that have been assigned to you in Naviance.
- Continue to search for scholarships!
- Submit your college applications as soon as possible!
- If there are colleges on your Colleges I'm Applying To list that you are no longer applying to, email your counselor so that we can remove those colleges from your list.
- Pass your classes. All of them. Please don't assume that grades in electives don't matter. They do.
- Pay your senior dues. See the senior sponsors or the senior class website if you have any questions about this.
If you have questions, please contact your assigned counselor directly.
Senior Parents
Please visit the senior class webpage often for details related to graduation, senior honors, dues, etc. If you have not paid your senior dues and/or ordered your cap & gown, you need to do so asap. See your senior sponsors with any questions.

Senior Dues
Pay your Senior Dues online or see Ms. Peyton in room 3142 during BDT or 4th period.
Senior Exit Survey
All seniors must complete the 2023 Senior Exit Survey located in Naviance. This is a requirement to be cleared for graduation or pick up cap & gowns. The deadline for completion is April 28, 2023.
Scholarship Tracking
Help us tally the total amount of scholarship dollars offered to the class of 2023!
Submit copies of your scholarship offers/emails to Ms. Huffman in the counseling office by May 5, 2023.
You can email a copy of your letter to Ms. Huffman at sheila_huffman@dekalbschoolsga.org or drop off a hard copy to her in the counseling office. We want to know about every scholarship offered, no matter the amount. Just indicate if you accepted the scholarship or declined it.
We will announce the total amount earned during Senior Honors on May 16th. Go Graduates!
NOTE: You do not have to include the HOPE or Zell Miller scholarship information.
