LACROSSE

Boys

The Bulldogs had a busy week with 3 games, but came out victorious against North Springs (17-4), Druid Hills (14-2) and Kell (8-5). This week they will face Lakeside again and Northview.

LET'S GO BULLDOGS!!

SOCCER

Boys

The Chamblee boys began the week with an out of region foe, Roswell, where the boys traveled to on Wednesday night. The boys controlled the first half building a 2-0 lead with goals by Grant Polk and Ben Gilboa. Unfortunately in the 2nd half they lost focus and went  down to 10 men, but they did escape with a 2-2 result.

The boys did not have long to think one way or the other about the result as they immediately turned around for their final region 4 match at Lithonia Thursday night. As mentioned the boys control their own destiny, a win, and they will finish tied for first in the region with Tucker. Coach Mo rested his main starters but the 2nd team didn't disappoint with a 10-0 mercy win. I am selecting Travis Conner Man of the match. His stats were as follows:

  • Travis Connor: 4 goals & 1 assist

The remaining stats line:

  • Eric Xu: 1 goal
  • Daniel Chavez: 3 goals
  • Noah Canman : 1 goal
  • Alec Kraby : 1 goal & 1 assist

With the win the boys finished tied for first in the region with Tucker, but Tucker will get the #1 seed in the playoffs due to them beating us earlier in the season.

Playoffs begin on 4/10 with one guaranteed home playoff game. The team does have one more game before Spring Break, Atlanta International visits North Dekalb Thursday night at 7:30. We look forward to seeing you all before we jettison off for the break.

BLUE & GOLD ENVELOPES

Help the Class of 2023 celebrate by stuffing their Blue and Gold Envelopes. These are large envelopes - that their friends and loved ones can fill with cards, notes and letters of well wishes and congratulations.  Any cards or envelopes submitted (following the instructions provided) will be gathered together and handed to each senior the day before graduation.

If you have a friend or family member that is graduating, submit something for them!   We will begin collecting letters on May 1 - and will organize them by student and stuff them all into one large envelope - all you need to do is deliver letters and cards (via mail or in person) to the school no later than Friday, May 12.

To drop them off in person: Be sure to write/type your Senior’s FULL NAME on ALL notes, cards and letters before dropping them off in the plastic bin outside Chamblee’s main entry doors

To submit via USPS mail, address them to:
